Shipping policy
This page explains our standard practices for shipping and local delivery, in addition to special circumstances and responsibilities of the customers regarding both shipping and local delivery. If our recommendations and guidelines are not followed, we will not be able to provide refunds for any product. We do our best to ensure your order arrives in the best condition possible and as fast as possible, while providing top quality service. These guidelines ensure we are able to do that. We only ship domestically to the contiguous 48 states.
Shipping Information
We offer local same day delivery with our own couriers to zip-codes within our delivery range. Any addresses outside of this range must be shipped VIA UPS. We offer 1-Day and 2-day shipping, as well as UPS ground for addresses within Florida. These options are to ensure that our product will arrive to you as fresh as possible and within the set standards for safe consumption. It is normal for packaging to become loose during transit and for products to thaw.
Currently we are only able to process shipment orders Tuesday-Thursday. We will do our best to fulfill orders same day or next day, depending on availablity. If an order is placed outside of our processing window, it will be shipped the following Tuesday. This is to ensure we can provide our customers with the freshest product possible and allow all the orders we ship to arrive in a condition that is safe for consumption.
We highly recommend 1-day shipping for orders that are shipped out on Thursday. If 2-day shipping is chosen and there are any delays within the postal service, the earliest you will receive your order is Monday, due to the fact they will not deliver on Sundays. If this occurs, your order will most likely be spoiled and we cannot provide refunds under these circumstances.
A signature is not required for delivery of our products; therefore, the package will be left at the customer’s door by UPS if no one is home to accept the order. All orders are shipped in a cooler box with ice packs which we guarantee will hold freshness for up to 48 hours, but we recommend transferring your order into your fridge or freezer immediately upon arrival.
Delayed Orders and Shipping Restrictions
We work hard to make sure all our customers receive the best quality products and service we can provide in a timely manner. There may be situations that are out of our control which can cause delays in our services, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience. In the event of any delays due to operational issues on our end, inclement weather, or an above average volume of orders our team will reach out to you and provide clear communication and updates regarding your order. It is the customer’s responsibility to order ahead of time, and we cannot be held for any order that arrives later than the customer anticipated. We recommend placing your order at least a week ahead of time if it is for a time-sensitive occasion such as Christmas or Thanksgiving. We do not provide refunds for any orders that are delayed during the shipping process due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, incorrect, invalid, or incomplete delivery addresses, and delays in postal service processing. We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or international addresses. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a valid and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays caused by any of the previously mentioned situations and cannot provide refunds under any of the aforementioned circumstances.
Local Delivery
We are only able to guarantee local same day delivery for orders placed before 1 pm. Any orders placed after 4 pm will be processed the following day. We are not able to guarantee a specific delivery time for delivery under any circumstances. It is entirely dependent upon the volume and locations of orders we receive for a given day. It is the customer’s responsibility to order ahead of time for any time sensitive orders, and we recommend for any urgent order that the customer places their order for pick up or comes into the store and places their order in person. All local orders are delivered via a refrigerated van and packaged in a non-insulated bag with ice packs, which guarantees freshness up to the time of delivery. If a customer is not home to receive their order upon delivery, the package will be left at the front door or with the front desk for apartment buildings, and the customer will be notified of the delivery via text message. There is a short window of time where we can guarantee the product will remain fresh under these circumstances, and it is the customer’s responsibility to collect their order and transfer it to a refrigerator or freezer in a timely manner. We are not responsible for a loss of product if these guidelines are not followed.
